Crypto.com, serving over 80 million global customers as a prominent cryptocurrency platform, and LINE Xenesis Corporation, a blockchain-related business developer of the global messaging app LINE, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The agreement sets in motion a collaborative effort to expand cryptocurrency solutions across the Asia Pacific region, establishing “a foundation for Crypto.com and LINE Xenesis to establish a collaborative forefront of crypto innovation that drives influence across the broader Asia Pacific and global crypto industry.”
The collaboration is initially set to build up LINE Xenesis’ licensed cryptocurrency services in Japan.
Eric Anziani, Crypto.com’s president and chief operating officer, commented on the partnership, stating their collaboration with LINE Xenesis will facilitate the mission of mainstreaming crypto through a “highly tech-savvy base” across the Asia Pacific region. At the start, the collaboration will start building up LINE Xenesis’ licensed cryptocurrency services and business opportunities in Japan.
The MoU also outlines future plans for the partners to explore additional crypto and blockchain-related solutions. Such avenues include the strengthening of cryptocurrency payment capabilities and the potential integration of NFTs. The partnership will also see the LINE Xenesis’ regional and global affiliate network leverage the technology and product development capabilities of Crypto.com.
“Crypto.com is excited to partner with such an established and innovative brand in the APAC market and a leader in blockchain technology development in Japan,” stated Anziani. He further noted the crucial role of enabling real-world utility to their mission of mainstreaming crypto.
Patrick Yoon, general manager of Crypto.com Korea, emphasized the significance of the APAC and Japan markets for crypto growth. He stated, “by bringing Crypto.com and LINE Xenesis together, we will collectively uncover even greater opportunity and impact.”
